Close, but no cigar.

The nurse put a Band-Aid on my arm today after she gave me a flu shot. The only problem is she put the Band-Aid about a ¼ inch above the actual injection site. Which means my arm has a trail of blood running down it. And a superfluous bandage.

Very funny, nurse-lady, very funny.

I don't currently believe in flu shots. I got them when I was young, and I'll probably go back to getting them when I'm old and in poor health. For now, however, I'm perfectly healthy, there are other people who need them more than I, and quite honestly everytime I've gotten one in the last ten years or so, I've gotten the flu. No shot, no flu.

I always get sick when I get a flu shot, but I'm required to get one every year because I work with children. It's one of those "you have to or we'll stop paying you sick leave" type things.

Okay well I guess that's a pretty good reason.
