How to make chili: a step-by-step guide.

Step one: gather ingredients.

You will need chiles . . . 

(lots of chiles)



meat . . .
 (lots of meat)





bacon . . .
  
(lots of bacon)





onions . . . 
(lots of onions)





garlic . . .
(lots of garlic) 


and some other stuff.


Step two: cook it all.


Ta-dah! You now have chili!

My recipe is:

Buy Bear Creek chili mix. Dump in boiling water, with tomato paste. Eat.

Ah, remember how I freaked out because the meat looked like two piles of brains? Glad to know you weren't pulling a Hannibal Lecter... I never heard, did your chili win?

I made White chicken chili for our ward chili cook-off and got the prize for "Most talked about chili." I don't know if that makes it a winner or not, unfortunately...
