High on my pet peeves list . . .

are those people that quote the scriptures under their breath along with the speaker in church or teacher in Sunday School.

I mean, what is wrong with those people?

Seriously, folks. Stop. Doing. That.

The others within earshot are not impressed with your righteousness. They are, rather, impressed with their own ability of not smacking you in the back of the head.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that girl today narrowly escaped a hymnbook to the jugular.

My favorite is when Eric repeats "in the name...Amen" at the end of a talk, because he ALWAYS knows what they're going to say. Amazing!

Jeremy does it all the time. Only in my ear shot, but still...annoying. He has a photographic memory and quotes nearly everyone. Even if he is just moving his lips it still bugs!

Sorry Kim...I won't do it again, I promise.

If you're smart, you won't, Bec.

For real Kim, who was doing that? You don't have to tell me on here, but was it me? I am definitely guilty of it, but I don't do it for the reasons you listed...at least I think I don't. SHOOT! I'm going to have to launch a study to see why I do that when I do that...Hmmm. I don't know if that made sense to me even so it's okay if you have already stopped following along...
