At least the girl was hot.

I caught a matinee of Knowing yesterday and I just have two questions:

1. Is Nicolas Cage on drugs? No one can be clean and still look that weird.

2. Does Nicolas Cage teach an acting class titled "How to be really creepy in every scene"?

I would also ask, "What is an MIT professor doing driving that huge truck?" but then the rest of the movie was weirder by far and his vehicle doesn't seem that important anymore.

I can't really recommend this movie because I don't want everyone to think I have horrible taste in movies but if you have seen it, call me because I want to talk about it with someone. Like about that tree in the end. And the rocks. And the whisper people's progenitive abilities.

In other news, I had a tortilla chip yesterday in the exact shape of Virginia. It was pretty cool.

I can't stand Nicolas Cage, but this movie looked interesting, so good to know!

I caught a matinee of this yesterday as well. I didn't think the movie was that bad... for a Nicolas Cage movie. There is obviously a LDS writer somewhere involved.

Aw, Jacob, we should have gone together so I would've had someone's arm to squeeze during the suspenseful parts. (As I was alone, my armrest got one hell of a squeezing.)

Also, I didn't exactly say the movie was bad . . . just weird. It had an interesting base but a lot of dead-ending sub-plots crowded out the main idea. The whole strained relationship with his father, the dead wife, all that needed to be cut out. THEN we might have a decent movie.

I agree.

thank you for now making me check the outline of every tortilla chip before I eat it.

Why do you heap extra work on me when you know I'm so busy?

This is making me feel sort of throw-uppy.

Better or worse than National Treasure 2?

Keep in mind that better doesn't necessarily mean that this one is any good. I would have walked out of National Treasure 2 if it wasn't for the fact that I went with someone.

(I had to leave a comment. I wouldn't want to be responsible for the death of kittens.)

I can't remember if I've seen National Treasure 1 or 2. I know I've seen one of them. Which one is the one where they have special spectacles to look at a map? That's the one I've seen.

I'd say Knowing is more interesting, but less entertaining.

Still Nick Cage = creepy in both.

I think that was 1. Ok but not great. 2 was horrible and stupid but I'd blame that one on the writers.

Nicolas Cage is really good in Lord of War. I also liked Con Air Does that make me a bad person? He just makes so many movies(61 so far) that he doesn't know when to say Yes and when to say No to a script.

He's a Hollywood whore.

I love Con Air! I'm not kidding--it's one of my favorite movies. Probably because I have this weird crush on John Malkovitch.

The line, "Thesaurus Boy, I think, is more appropriate," kills me every time. And, "If you can't trust a South American drug lord, who can you trust, eh?" Oh, and, "Hey! My momma lives in a trailer!" So many fantastic lines.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes that movie.

A bunch of idiots dancing on a plane to a song made famous by a band who died in a plane crash?

I totally saw this movie, and it scared the crap out of me. My friend and I were holding hands, which I don't do.... at all.
