New Game

Karen and I developed a new drinking game tonight while watching the first Presidential debate.

Every time the Senators referred to middle America as "Main Street," I took a shot of Diet Dr Pepper. And when the Senators pronounced a word incorrectly (pertickaly? really . . .) Karen groaned and took a shot of Diet Coke.

It's looking to be a fun night.

(Also, is Barack Obama allowed to say "orgy" on live television? And how many times is John McCain going to bemoan that he didn't win "Miss Congeniality"?)

Also, what's with all the bracelets?

My wife suggested taking a shot every time one of them make a statement about "being in the 'show me' state." We decided that this would be a bad idea as we might be out cold by 6:30.

Turns out this wouldn't have been a problem, but the concern was there!

So what did you think? Who was the winner last night?

Oh yes,the bracelets. I wonder how many people thought "Oh, brother!" at that moment. Donny and I both groaned it.
My favorite part was on the last question when John McCain started "When I came back from jail..." I couldn't stop laughing. Maybe it was funnier last night.

I feel very sad that I missed the chance to get sloshed with y'all...especially because I was falling asleep in the basement. I was so tired that night...
